Memphis in Glass

My friend, who I call Soul Sister, sent me pictures of three of her cats.

The first is Nicodemus, the awesome cat she had when we met 25 years ago.

Next up is Black Olive, who apparently has a dark soul to match her coat. 🙂

Finally there is Memphis. I was having trouble with the image she sent first:

He always ended up looking like he had no neck. When I told her, she sent me a different image to try. In this one, he was being goofy and sticking his head in a glass of water. It’s one of my favorite pieces so far.

So, when I have trouble with images moving forward, I think I’ll ask for a picture of the pet doing something that makes their personality shine through.
